Speaking of editors, I am so excited to be working with Shannon again!! Shannon was the editor of the Charlotte Illes books, straight up THE reason Charlotte exists in book form, and now she’s killing it as an Avon editor at HarperCollins. I had to plan an elaborate heist (literally) to steal back some of her time and attention and the incredible amounts of love and enthusiasm she puts into the books she works on.

If you’ve looked at my book recs and/or have heard me say how much I want to publish fantasy one day, you probably already know how much fantasy I read and/or how much I wanted to publish fantasy one day. Also, if you’ve watched my sketches, you probably know how much I love heists since I think I’ve literally written at least four or five sketches about them HAHA

All that is to say, a lot of dreams are coming true with the publication of ONE FOR THE BOOKS. This is such a fun one. I’m very excited for everyone to meet the team in early summer 2027 (soft release date, don’t hold me to it, I don’t set the dates I just write the books).
